Innovation Award Challenge

The Innovation Award Challenge is initiated to appreciate the alumni who have developed innovative and meaningful social projects during the Pandemic. The Challenge brings passionate alumni, resourceful funders and philanthropic experts together to showcase adaptive experiences and innovative organization strategy.

Selection

1. Eligibility

  • Interested alumni shall select an adapted or a newly established project that serves the needs and enables the resiliency of their serving targets during COVID-19 in Hong Kong.
  • The project period should be conducted within the period of February 2019 to now and can either be a completed or an ongoing project of their current organization.

2. Application

  • Applicants shall submit the following by 9th June, 2021 (Wednesday):
    a) Application Form
    b) A 600-word project report (click here for template) to illustrative the objectives, strategies and outcomes of the project. Outcomes shall be supported with quantitative and / or qualitative results.

3. Selection

  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present a short project highlight video and join the Project Showcase on 16th July, 2021 (Friday) via Zoom.
  • Adjudicating Panel:
    Ms Joanna Sin, Head of Corporate Communications, UBS China
    Mr Kar-Choi Chan, Lecturer, Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
    Ms Michelle Chow, Consultant, Withersworldwide
  • Judging Criterion:
    Innovation and Creativity (40%)
    Outcome (40%)
    Presentation (20%)

4. Awards

  • Two winners (awarded with $50,000 each for agency development) will be selected on Project Showcase (16th July, 2021).
  • Awards will be presented on 2021 Pitching Day (17th September, 2021).
