Information Session - 15 Jan
We organized an online information session on 15 January 2021 for our potential applicants to learn about our programme. Prof Joyce Ma and Mr. Rob Stewart, our co-founders, delivered an opening remarks and a personal sharing on “Investing through the Leadership Programme” respectively. Our programme director, Dr. Mooly Wong, introduced the key features of Programme 2021. Special thanks to Wofoo Foundation for supporting one of our winning prize of Pitching Day this year.
6 of our alumni helped facilitate a breakout session and interact with our potential applicants, including Lena (cohort 2019), Zamira, Christine, Bia, Michelle and Louis (cohort 2020). Zamira and Christine also served as guest speakers and inspired our guests with their learning journey at NGOLP. The genuine enthusiasm of our alumni has motivated our guests to take a leadership role and strive for a better society.

Training (Mar - Jun)
The rigorous four-month training of NGOLP is comprised of virtual sessions with UBS skill-based mentors and overseas social leaders, in-person lectures with scholars and experiential learning activities led by media and non-profit experts. Our participants actively engaged in class discussions and peer networking. It has been a fruitful journey that equipped them in service model evaluation, organization development, financials and project management, advocacy and marketing skills.
